The use of light colors in the design of the apartment made it possible to create coziness in a small space and maintain a sense of spaciousness. The living room has a total of 17 square meters. square meters, but here all the necessary functional zones are located, and each of them performs several functions at once. So, the recreation area, or “sofa”, turns into a bedroom at night, the relaxation area with an armchair and a bookcase is easily converted into a study or playroom for the child.
The angular arrangement of the kitchen made it possible to organize a dining area, and the glass "floor" door leading to the loggia added light and air.

Design one-room apartment without redevelopment, 36 square meters. m. (studio Zukkini)
In this project, the load-bearing wall was an obstacle to a change in layout, so the designers had to act within the given space. The living room was divided into two parts by an open shelving unit - this simple solution is very effective in many cases, making it possible to visually distinguish between zones without cluttering up the space and reducing the light flux.
The bed is located by the window, there is a kind of mini-study - a small desk-desk with a working chair. The shelving unit performs the functions of a bedside table in the sleeping area.
In the depths of the room behind the shelf, which plays the role of a bookcase and a display case for souvenirs, there is a living room with a comfortable sofa and a large TV. The wardrobe in the entire wall allows you to store a lot of things and does not clutter up the space, its mirrored doors visually double the room and enhance its lighting.
The refrigerator from the kitchen was transferred to the hallway, as a result, a place was created for the dining area. Wall cabinets on one of the walls were abandoned to make the kitchen seem more spacious.

Design one-room apartment of 40 square meters. m. (studio KYD BURO)
A good project showing how it is convenient and taking into account all the requirements for the modern level of comfort to equip an apartment for one or two people, without resorting to changing the initial planning decision.
The main room is a living room. From the furniture in the room: a comfortable corner sofa, a large-screen TV mounted on a hanging console - on the opposite wall. For clothes and other necessary things, a volumetric storage system is provided. There is also a coffee table that adds completeness to the interior. At night, the living room transforms into a bedroom - the unfolded sofa forms a comfortable place to sleep.
If necessary, the living room can easily be turned into a study: for this it is necessary to open two leaves of the storage system - behind them is a countertop, a small shelf for documents and books; the work chair extends from under the countertop.
In order not to burden the space, which is already not too much, the kitchen abandoned the traditional top row of hanging shelves, replacing them with open shelves.
At the same time, there are even more places where you can keep kitchen utensils and supplies - the entire wall opposite the work area is occupied by a large storage system with a niche in which a sofa is built-in. Next to him is a small dining group. A rationally organized space allowed not only to save free space, but also to reduce the cost of furniture for the kitchen.

The one-room apartment project has 37 square meters. m. used every square centimeter. A sofa, armchairs and a coffee table, forming a sitting corner, are raised to the podium and are thus distinguished from the total volume. At night, a berth is pulled out from under the podium: an orthopedic mattress provides a full sleep.
The television panel, on the contrary, is built into a large storage system - its volume made it possible to correct the initially incorrect, too elongated shape of the room. Under it is a living flame, closed by a glass of a biofireplace. A screen is hidden in the box above the storage system - you can lower it to watch movies.
A small kitchen area contained three functional zones at once:
- a storage system with a worktop and kitchen equipment is built along one of the walls, forming a kitchen;
- near the window there was a dining area consisting of a round table and four designer chairs around it;
- on the windowsill there is a lounge area where you can relax and have a coffee while having a friendly conversation, enjoying the views from the window.

The project of a studio apartment with a separate bedroom (BRO design studio)
Even in a “odnushka” small in area, you can have a separate bedroom, and you don’t need to move the walls or build the space according to the studio principle: the kitchen occupies a separate volume and is completely fenced off from the rest of the apartment’s space.
The project provides for the location of the bedroom near a single window. There is a standard double bed, a narrow chest of drawers that acts as a dressing table, and one bedside table. The role of the second bedside table is performed by a low partition between the bedroom and the living room - its height allows you to maintain the feeling of a large space and provides daylight for the entire living area.

Maximum functionality and impeccable design are the main advantages of the project. The living room and bedroom were visually separated by wooden slats: starting from the bed, they reach the ceiling and can change orientation similarly to the shutter blinds: in the daytime “open” and let in light into the living room, at night - “close” and isolate the sleeping place.
The lower illumination of the console chest adds light to the living room, effectively highlighting the main decorative piece of furniture: a coffee table made from a slice of a huge trunk. On the dresser is a bio-fuel fireplace, and above it is a TV panel. Opposite is a comfortable sofa.
The bedroom has a double-purpose wardrobe, it stores not only clothes, but also books. Bed sheets are put in the drawer under the bed.
Due to the angular arrangement of kitchen furniture and the island oven, it was possible to organize a small dining area.

In the one-room apartment project, the residential volume is divided into two: private and public. This was possible due to the angular location of the apartment, which led to the presence of two windows in the room. The use of IKEA furniture in design allowed to reduce the project budget. As decorative accents used bright textiles.
A ceiling-to-floor storage system separated the bedroom and the living room. On the living room side, the storage system has a niche for the TV, as well as shelves for storing things. Near the wall opposite is a design of drawers, in the center of which sofa cushions form a cozy place to relax.
From the bedroom side, it has an open niche, which replaces the owners with a bedside table. Another pedestal is suspended from the wall - under it you can place a pouf to save space.
The main color in the design of a small kitchen is white, which makes it visually more spacious. The dining table folds up to save space. Its countertop made of natural wood softens the strict style of decoration and makes the kitchen more comfortable.

The main condition set for designers was the preservation of the isolated position of the kitchen. In addition, it was necessary to provide for a fairly large number of storage places. The living area was supposed to accommodate a bedroom, a living room, a dressing room and a small office for work. And all this - on 36 square meters. m
The main idea of the design of a one-room apartment is the separation of functional zones and their logical combination using contrasting colors of the spectrum: red, white and black.
Red in design actively allocates a recreation area in the living room and an office on the loggia, logically connecting them together. A graceful black and white pattern adorning the head of the bed is repeated in a softer color combination in the decoration of the cabinet and bathroom. A black wall with a TV panel and storage system visually moves the sofa part, expanding the space.
The bedroom was placed in a niche, having built a podium - it can be used to store things.

The project of a studio apartment of 43 square meters. m. (Studio Guinea)
Having got at their disposal the standard “odnushka” of the 10/11/02 PIR-44 series with 2.57 high ceilings, the designers decided to use the square meters provided to them to the maximum, and at the same time dispense with the design of a one-room apartment.
The successful arrangement of doorways made it possible to allocate space in the room for a separate dressing room. The partition was laid out with white decorative brick, as well as a part of the wall located nearby - the brick in the design allocated a place for relaxation with an armchair and a decorative fireplace.
A sofa serving as a berth was allocated using wallpaper with a pattern.
A separate resting place was also organized in the kitchen, replacing two chairs of the dining area with a small sofa.

Apartment design 38 sq. M. m. in a typical house, KOPE series (Aiya Lisova Design studio)
The combination of white, gray and warm beige shades allowed to create a relaxing, calm atmosphere. The living room has two zones. Near the window there is a large bed, in front of which a TV panel on the bracket is installed above a high narrow chest of drawers.It can be deployed in the direction of a small seating area with a sofa and a coffee table, accented with a plain beige floor carpet and located in the back of the room.
The upper part of the wall opposite the bed is decorated with a huge mirror attached to the wall on a special frame. This adds light and makes the room visually much more spacious.
The corner kitchen has plenty of storage. The combination of gray oak facades of the lower row of cabinets, white gloss of the upper and the shiny surface of the glass apron adds a play of textures and shine.

Design one-room apartment 33 square meters. m. (designer Oleg Kurgaev)
The design of the apartment is decorated in a modern style - a lot of wood, natural materials, nothing more - just what is needed. Glass was used to separate the sleeping area from the rest of the living space - such a partition practically does not take up space, allows you to preserve the illumination of the entire room and at the same time makes it possible to isolate the private part of the apartment from prying eyes - this is done by a curtain, which can be pulled back at will.
In the decoration of an isolated kitchen, white is used as the main color, the color of natural light wood is additional.

A great example of how competent zoning can achieve comfortable living conditions in a limited space of a family with children.
The room is divided into two parts built with a special construction for this purpose, hiding the storage system. On the children's side, this is a closet for storing clothes and toys, on the side of the living room, which serves as a bedroom for parents, there is a capacious storage system for clothes and other things.
In the children's part they placed an attic bed, under which there was a place for a student to study. The “adult part” serves in the daytime as a living room, turns into a double bed in a night sofa.

Studio apartment 33 sq. M. m. for a family with a child (PV Design Studio)
To visually enlarge the room, the designer used standard means - the gloss of glossy and mirror surfaces, functional storage spaces and light colors of finishing materials.
The total area was divided into three zones: nursery, parental and dining. The children's part is highlighted with a delicate greenish tone of decoration. Here is the baby's bed, a chest of drawers, it is also a changing table, and a feeding chair. In the parent area, in addition to the bed, there is a small living room with a TV panel and a study - the windowsill was replaced with a worktop, and an armchair was placed next to it.
